That the said HENRY S. HALE agrees to print two thousand vol. of Baxter's Call for two hundred dollars, on paper worth three dollars each ream, and agrees to have them done ready for delivery on the tenth day of August next.

And the said ANDREW DIRGIN agrees to pay or cause to be paid to HENRY S. HALE, one hundred dollars in sixty days from the date hereof; and one hundred dollars in ninety days. In witness whereof the parties have hereunto interchangeably signed their names.

Form of a bond from one to another.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, THAT I, A. B. of, & am held and firmly bound to C. D. of, &c. in two hundred dollars to be paid to the said C. D. or his attorney, his executors, administrators, or assigns; to which payment well and truly to be made, I bind myself, my heirs executors and administrators, firmly by these presents ; sealed with my seal. Dated this tenth day of April, A. D. 1814.

The condition of this obligation is such that if the above bound A. B., his heirs, executors or administrators, do and shall well and truly pay, or cause to be paid, unto the above named C. D. his executors, administrators, or assigns, the full sum of one hundred dollars with legal interest for the same, on or before the first day of January A. D. 1815 then this obligation is to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.

When a person is furnished with his account current the various charges should be, specified,and the dates when the article were delivered; when the articles are numeous, some Accountant's make but one charge in the account current, referring to an annexed account of the several articles included.

The form of a will with the devise of a real and leasehold estate.

In the name of God Amen, I A.B.of. being weak in Body, but of sound and perfect mind and memory (or you may say thus, considering the uncertainty of this mortal life, and being of sound and perfect mind and memory) blessed be almighty God for the same, do make and publish this my last will and testament, in manner and form following, viz.

First I give and bequeath unto iny beloved wife T.B.the sum of - dollars; I do also give and bequeath unto my eldest son H.B.the sum of dollars, I do also give and bequeath unto my two younger sons J.B.and F. B.the sum of. dollars apiece; I also give and bequeath unto my daughter in law S. H. single woman the sum of

dollars, which said several legacies or sums of money I will and order shall be paid to the said respectiye legaties, within six months after my decease. I further give and bequeath to my said eldest son H.B. his heirs and assigns, all that my messuage or tenement, situate, lying and being in together with all my other freehold estate whatsoever, to hold to him the said H. B. his heirs and assigns forever. And I hereby give and bequeath to my said younger sons J. B. and F. B. all my lease hold estate of and in all those messuages or tenements, with the appurtenances, situate in equally to be divided between them. And lastly, as to all the rest, residue and remainder of my personal estate, goods and chattels, of what kind and nature soever, I give and bequeath the same to my said beloved wife T. B. whom I hereby appoint sole executrix of this my last will and testament; hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day of year of our Lord ·

The form of an indenture to bind an apprentice, to learn a trade till twenty one.

This indenture witnesseth, that J. B. of Exeter in the County of Rockingham, State of New-Hampshire, hath put and placed, and by these presents doth put and bind out his son D. B. and the said D. B. doth hereby put, place and bind out himself, as an apprentice to C. N. to learn the art, trade or mystery of printing, the said D. B. after the nanner of an apprentice, to dwell with and serve the said C. N. seven years, which will be in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty one, at which time the said appentice, if he shall be living, will be twenty one years of age; during all which time or term, the said apprentice his said master well and faithfully shall serve ; his secrets keep; his lawful commands every where at all times readily obey; he shall do no damage to his said master, nor wilfully suffer any to be done by others; and if any to his knowl edge be intended, he shall give his master seasonable notice thereof. He shall not waste the goods of his said master nor lend them unlawfully to any; at cards, dice or any other unlawful game he shall not play; fornication he shall not commit, nor matrimony contract during the said term; taverns, ale houses, or places of gaming he shall not haunt or frequent; from the service of his said master he shall not absent himself; but in all things and at all times he shall carry and behave himself as a good and faithful apprentice ought, during the whole time or -term aforesaid.

And the said C. N. on his part, doth hereby promise, covenant and agree to teach and instruct the said apprentice, or cause him to be taught and instructed in the art -trade or calling of a printer by the best way or means he can, and also to teach and instruct the said apprentice, or cause him to be taught and instructed, to read and write, and cypher as far as the Rule of Three, if the said apprentice be capable to learn; and shall well and faithfully find and provide for the said apprentice, good and sufficient meat, drink, clothing, lodging, and other necessaries fit and convenient for such an apprentice, during the term aforesaid, and at the expiration thereof,

shall give unto the said apprentice, two suits of wearing apparel, one suitable for the Lord's days, and the other for working days.

In testimony whereof, the parties have hereunto interchangeably set their hands and seals the first day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fourteen.

D. his said master well and faithfully shall serve; he shall do no damage to his said master, nor willfully suffer any to be done by others; he shall not waste his master's goods,nor lend them unlawfully to any; from the service of his said master he shall not absent himself, but shall in all things behave himself as a good and faithful servant ought during the whole time or term aforesaid. And the said R. P. on his part doth hereby promise covenant and agree (here insert the terms to be performed on the part of the master.)
