A quorum being present William M. Campbell was requested to act as Secretary pro tempore.

Messrs. Jones of Pike, Watts, Conger, Gentry, Sterigere, Maupin, Hyatt, Grimsley, Darby, Noland, Penn, Danforth, Monroe, Miller, Hunter, Ashby, Pratt, Thompson, Gilliam, Morin, Alford, Gorham, and Scott, severally presen ted their credentials, were qualified and took their seats.
