Area of additional floor space provided during 1915 : Fifty-five new State schools were opened during 1915, namely :- Alma Creek, Barambah Creek, Bingham, Blackwood, Boynewood, Bracewell, Braeside, Brookstead, Cannon Hill, Cape River, Dirnbir, Dirran, Ducklo, East Barron, Elimbah, Euri Creek, Fairfield, Fairymeadow Road, Fontainebleau, Goombi, Gorge, Herbert's Creek, Inkerman, Jarvisfield, Jinghi Gully, Kandanga Township, Keysland, Kulpi, Langmorn Creek Crossing, Long Pocket, Mackay North, Maranu, Meandarra, Moresby, Mount Mulligan, Nagoorin, Peranga, Poona, Rankin, Ropeley East, Spring Creek Upper, St. Kilda, Stratharlie, Tandaringie, Tannymorel Colliery, Tarome, Thorndale, Tureen, Urangan Road, Wallon Creek, Wattle Grove, Whitebridge, Willmott, Woodend, Woodmillar. Seventeen new Provisional schools were opened in 1915, namely:Caulfield, Cheepie, Cona, Cooloolabin, Cooloothin Creek, Hale's Siding, Hightville, Koolamarra, Laburnum Grove, Long Gully, Louisavale, Mookarra, Newlands, Somerset, Stannum, Upper Wallan, and Wieambilla Sawmills.
