ACADEMIC COSTUME.

1. Academic Costume will be worn at Convocations for conferring Degrees.

2. Such of the Fellows of the University of Bombay as are Graduates of other Universities, or as are entitled to wear official* costume or uniform, may appear in the academic dress of their own Universities or in such costume or uniform, wearing in addition the Fellow's Scarf of the University of Bombay.

Other Fellows will wear the Fellow's Gown and Scarf of the University of Bombay. The head-dress of the European Fellows is a College Cap.

Gowns and Scarfs of the University will be given for use on the Degree Days to Fellows entitled to receive them, according to the order in which their names occur in the list of subscriptions for the use of Costume.

5. Messrs. Watson & Co., Robe-makers to the University, will provide the Academic Costume of any University which Fellows of the University of Bombay are entitled to wear.

6. A Candidate for a Degree may have the use of a Gown and Hood for one occasion on payment of Rs. 10. 7. A Fellow may have the use of a Gown or Scarf (if available) for one occasion on payment of Rs. 5.

8. A Graduate may have the use of a Gown and Hood for one occasion on payment of Rs. 5.
