EXCHANGE.

Exchange consists in finding what quantity of the money of one country is equivalent to a certain sum of the money of another, according to a given course of exchange.

The par of exchange is the intrinsic value of the currency of one country, compared with the currency of another.

The course of exchange is the current value at which the money of one country is estimated in
