STATUTE-Continued.

4. Section 6 (G. S. 1913, § 8722) applies only to defendants convicted in inferior courts, and, if invalid, does not concern appellants as defendant property owners in the civil action alone.

SUBJECT AND TITLE OF ACT.

5. Chapter 484, p. 711, Laws 1913 (G. S. 1913, §§ 3136, 3137), prohibiting the soliciting of orders for the sale of intoxicating liquors within certain territory, is not unconstitutional within article 4, § 27, of the Constitution, because its subject is not expressed in its title.

-State v. Droppo, 68.

6. Chapter 140, p. 160, Laws of 1913, is not open to the objection that the subject-matter of the act is not expressed in its title, and it is constitutional.

-State ex rel. v. Iverson, 110.

REVISED LAWS 1905.

7. The provisions of the Revised Laws 1905, so far as they are the same as prior statutes, are to be construed as continuations thereof, and a mere change in language will not be construed as altering the law, unless it is clear that such was the intention.
