NOTE. The words eagle and dime are seldom or never used in business transactions. Dollars and cents are usually separated y a point; thus, $36.42 is read, 36 dollars and 42 cents.

NOTE. The pound, ounce, and grain are the same in Apothecaries' Weight that they are in Troy Weight; but the ounce is differently divided.
