It Is Written

A challenge is set before us to live in the world but not for the world. The Church in many cases has sold out the truth or quenched it for the sake of popularity and wealth. Many ignore the Lord's command to love your neighbor and show benevolence to the needy, especially the needs of fellow followers of Christ Jesus; instead they create their own standard of living. This book is an exhortation to fulfill God's decrees and not man's counsel. It entails the fall of man from the beginning of time and God's remedy to renew man's state by His electing grace. At the age of five, Kevin lost his mother to cancer. Soon after, he found his home neglected and all five siblings torn apart. Fear and loneliness overwhelmed him to the point where he succumbed to spiritually clouded vision, living for the world and not for Christ. This tragedy burdened Kevin until the age of 29, when he met the Lord as his Savior. As an adult, Kevin endured another trial - this time with his own family. Health, jobs, home, and even his own family were jeopardized. God got Kevin's attention through His Word and His Spirit: "I am that I am, I am your Heavenly Father, your Lord, your friend, your Counselor. I am your comforter and sustainer, I am your guide; you are the apple of my eye, and I love you with an everlasting love." God's providential hand weaned Kevin from an eco-centric life and restored his family to a joyful and fulfilling life of surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ. Kevin, his wife Karen and daughter Megan reside in Texas.
