Mr. Brown, on behalf of the Committee on Miscellaneous, to whom had been referred S. B. No. 48, entitled:

An Act to amend Chapter 155, of the Revised Code of the State of Delaware in relation to the description of money.

Reported the same back to the Senate favorably.

On motion of Mr. Hollett, S. B. No. 31, entitled:

An Act to amend Chapter 176, Volume 18, Laws of Delaware, entitled, "An Act to Incorporate the Town of Kenton,” passed April 22, 1887, by increasing the annual appropriation for said town by the Levy Court.

Was taken up for consideration and read a third time, by paragraphs, in order to pass the Senate.

On the question, "Shall the bill pass the Senate ?"

The yeas and nays were ordered, which being taken were as follows:

Yeas-Messrs. Brown, Frazier, Hollett, Hart, Hickman, Hoffecker, Joseph, Long, Mitchell, Murphy, Newton, Poole, Webb, Wharton, Walker, Barnard. 16.

Nays-None.

So the question was decided in the affirmative, and the bill having received the required constitutional majority, passed the Senate.

Ordered to the House for concurrence.

On motion of Mr. Hickman, S. B. No. 48, entitled:

An Act to amend Chapter 155 of the Revised Code of the State of Delaware in relation to the description of money.

Was taken up for consideration and read a third time, by paragraphs, in order to pass the Senate.

Upon request, the privilege of the floor was given to Attorney Wm. M. Hope.

On the question, "Shall the bill pass the Senate ?"

The yeas and nays were ordered, which being taken were as follows:

So the question was decided in the affirmative, and the bill having received the required constitutional majority, passed the Senate.

On motion of Mr. Long, Senate Bill No. 50 was made a special order for March 9th, at II o'clock.

On motion of Mr. Long Senate Bill No. 52 was ordered re-committed.

On motion of Mr. Murphy, S. B. No. 86, entitled:

An Act to amend Chapter 100 in relation to dogs running at large in Kent County.

On motion of Mr. Wharton the following amendment was adopted:

Amend Senate Bill No. 86 by adding after the word "owner," in the tenth line of Sec. I, and in the eleventh line of Sec. 1, the words "or his agent."

Was taken up for consideration and read a third time, by paragraphs, in order to pass the Senate.

On the question, "Shall the bill pass the Senate ?”

The yeas and nays were ordered, which being taken were as follows:

On motion of Mr. Newton, substitute for S. B. No. 87, entitled:

An Act to amend Chapter 22 of the Revised Code of the State of Delaware, in relation to commercial fertilizer.

On motion of Mr. Newton, Senate substitute for Senate Bill No. 87 was adopted.

The substitute was taken up for consideration and read a third time, by paragraphs, in order to pass the Senate.

On the question, "Shall the bill pass the Senate?"

The yeas and nays were ordered, which being taken were as follows:

Yeas-Messrs. Brown, Frazier, Hollett, Hart, Hickman, Joseph, Long, Mitchell, Murphy, Newton, Poole, Webb, Wharton, Walker, Barnard. 15.

On motion of Mr. Murphy, Senate Substitute was adopted in lieu of the original bill.

Mr. Poore, Clerk of the House, being admitted, informed the Senate that the House had passed and requested the concurrence of the Senate in the following H. B. No. 103, entitled:

An Act to amend Chapter 55 of the Revised Code of the State of Delaware relating to the roads of New Castle County. And presented the same to the Senate.

Mr. Poore, Clerk of the House, being admitted, informed the Senate that the House had passed and requested the concurrence of the Senate in the following H. B. No. 100, entiled:

An Act to amend Chapter 55, of the Revised Code of the State of Delaware, by defining what highways shall be deemed to be public roads.

And presented the same to the Senate.

Mr. Poore, Clerk of the House, being admitted, informed the Senate that the House had passed and requested the concurrence of the Senate in the following H. B. No. 97, entitled:

An Act to reincorporate the town of Laurel.

And presented the same to the Senate.

Mr. Poore, Clerk of the House, being admitted, informed the Senate that the House had passed and requested the concurrence of the Senate in the following H. B. No. 72, entitled:

An Act appropriating the sum of eleven hundred and twentyone dollars and twenty-one cents to District No. 18, in Sussex County, to cover an insufficiency in the amount applicable out of the sum appropriated to carry out the provisions of an Act providing graded school facilities for the children of this State.

And presented the same to the Senate.

the Senate that the House had passed and requested the concurrence of the Senate in the following H. B. No. 106, entitled:

An Act to amend Chapter 55, of the Revised Code of the State of Delaware, relating to the road of New Castle County. And presented the same to the Senate.

An Act to amend Chapter 93, of the Revised Code of the State of Delaware, by extending legatees and devisees as witnesses to a last will and testament.
