Εξώφυλλο
AuthorHouse, 2008 - 396 σελίδες
"Selma" is historical fiction centered on the McLester and Elliot families and their lives in Selma, Alabama during the War Between the States. Simultaneously, the book also tells the story of Burt a slave that kills his master. His defense attorneys are both white lawyers that put their reputation in jeopardy to clear Burt of the murder. The author has used actual historical events and characters to add depth to his story; a study of the complexities of life on many levels: social, political and legal and the effect of slavery on the population of the South.
