An Act confirming the proceedings under which a union free school was formed by the consolidation of school districts number eight of the town of Vernon, Oneida county, number twenty-two of the town of Lenox, Madison county, and joint district number twenty-six of said towns of Vernon and Lenox; and authorizing the ceding by the State of New York, of a portion of the public square in the village of Oneida Castleton, together with the academy buildings thereon, to the board of education of said union free school, for their sole use as said board of said school, and to refund taxes collected in said district number twenty-two for the erection of a new school-house.
