PREFACE.

IN compliance with the suggestions of many of the Subscribers, with the commencement of the next volume, it is intended to introduce an improvement into this series of Reports. The cases relating to Real Property and Conveyancing will be more strictly selected, with a view to the preservation of those only which are of practical utility to Conveyancers who are concerned in the sale or management of Real Property. And to these will be added all the new statutes relating to the law of Real Property, with notes; practical precedents, and occasional comments on points of importance relating to Conveyancing, which will be paged so as to bind separately from the Reports. This, it is hoped, will add greatly to the interest and value of the work, and recommend it to those who desire to possess a condensed collection of all the current law on Real Property.

In future, also, availing himself of the convenience offered by the new postal regulations, the Publisher will transmit the work to the subscribers by the post in parts, instead of in numbers as hitherto.

29, ESSEX STREET, MARCH 1, 1848.
