(a) When you buy potatoes, your grocer often measures them in a quart measure, a peck measure, or a bushel basket.

Name some other articles that are often bought by the peck or bushel.

(b) Fill a quart measure with sand and empty it into a peck measure. How many times must you empty the quart measure into the peck measure to fill the peck measure? 1 peck quarts.

(h) If potatoes cost 40¢ a peck, how much is this a bushel? Is it more or less than 40¢? Do you multiply or divide by 4?
