(a) At 2 cents each, how many pencils can you buy for 10 cents?

You can buy as many pencils as 2 cents is contained times in 10 cents, that is, 5 pencils.

(b) If two boys divide 20 cents equally, how many cents will one boy receive?

One boy will receive of 20 cents, or 10 cents.

1. I have 20 cents. How many pencils costing 5 cents each can I buy? If I buy 4-cent pencils, how many can I buy for 20 cents?
