Regular meetings of the State Board of Law Examiners shall be held at the capital, on the second day of each regular term of the Supreme Court in each year. Special meetings may be held from time to time as shall be determined by the board. Rule 2. All applications for admission to the bar shall be made by petition to the Supreme Court. The petition shall be verified by the oath of the applicant and shall state : First - In all cases the following particulars : The full name of the applicant, place, and date of birth, and, if foreign born, the facts showing that he is a citizen of the United States. b. Place and periods of residence and occupation during the last preceding five years. Names and address of five persons acquainted with the applicant during said period. If the applicant applies for admission as a member of the bar of another State or Territory, said references or a majority of them shall preferably be judges, or members of the bar of such State or Territory. Second -- The following additional particulars in case the petitioner applies for admission on the ground of having been admitted to practice in the highest court of some other State. The place or places where the applicant has been engaged in practice in such other State or Territory. C. a. |
