BE it remembered, that on the first day of September, in the thirty-seventh year of the Independence of the United States of America, JAMES W. BURDIIT, & Co. and WILLIAM WELLS, of the said District, have deposited in this Office the title of a Book, the Right whereof they claim as Proprietors, in the words following, to wit: "A Compendious Treatise on the use of the Globes, and of Maps; compiled from the Works of Keith, Ferguson, Adams, Hutton, Eryan, Goldsmith, and other eminent authors; being a plain and comprehensive Introduction to the practical knowledge of Geography and Astronomy, containing also a brief view of the Solar system; a variety of astronomical Tables: numerous Problems for the exercise of the learner, &c.
