To repeat the preceding Tables you begin at the left column, and for addition add downwards, saying two and one are 3, two and two are 4, two and three are 5, and so down to 9. The Multiplication Table you read, twice one are 2, twice two are 4, twice three are 6, and so to 12. Begin the next column, saying, three times one are 3, three times two are 6, and so on.
