I intend them as supplementary to the occasional remarks on the most important points of Christian doctrine and duty, which I have laid before you during my course of catechising; and you will find in them sometimes a repetition, and sometimes a continuation, of statements with which you are, or at any rate with which you ought to be, already familiar.
