Nathaniel Bouton, and inform him of his election as chaplain of the Legislature, and if he accept, to inform His Excellency the Governor and the Hon. Council that prayers will be attended in the Representatives' Hall at fifteen minutes before ten o'clock each morning of this session of the Legislature, in which they request the concurrence of the Senate."

And he withdrew.

Resolved, that the Senate do concur in the passage of the resolution last received from the House of Representatives. Ordered, that the clerk notify the House of Representatives accordingly.
