AN ACT

Salary of

lieutenant

Supplementary to "an act to fix the salaries of certain state officers, and to repeal a certain act therein named," passed January 24th, 1867. SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Ohio, That the salary of the lieutenant-governor shall be paid in equal installments at the state treasury, on governor. the first Monday of February, March, April and May of each year-anything in any law to the contrary notwithstanding. SEC. 2. This act shall take effect on its passage.

AN ACT

Supplementary to an act entitled "an act supplementary to an act passed March 14, 1853, entitled an act to provide for the reorganization of common schools," passed April 9th, 1867.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Organization State of Ohio, That the board of education, elected under the pro- of board. visions of the act to which this is supplementary, shall, before entering upon the duties of their office, organize, by electing from their own number a chairman, a clerk or recorder, and a treasurer, for such separate district; and the person so elected treasurer, shall, before entering upon the discharge Treasurer's of the duties of his office, execute a bond, payable to the bond. state of Ohio, for an amount at least double the estimated amount of money that will be in his hands at any time, with two or more sureties, being freeholders in the county, to be approved by the chairman and clerk, and deposited with the clerk; and it shall be the duty of the clerk of such separate school district to immediately file with the county auditor a certified copy of such bond, from and after which the county auditor shall recognize and treat said district as a separate school district.
