This volume of the NEGLIGENCE AND COMPENSATION CASES ANNOTATED (2 N. C. C. A.) follows the plan outlined in the initial volume of the series. It contains decisions on a great variety of Negligence actions with exhaustive annotations on leading topics of Negligence Law.

Each case reported in this volume is either fully annotated or crossreferenced in convenient form. Numerous cases have the Pleadings thereto appended, and several of the Case Notes show useful forms.

The annotations are not only numerous and cover considerable space but present a most varied collection of subjects arising out of the Law of Negligence. In addition there is a review of American, Canadian and English cases and statutes on a defense involved under the Workmen's Compensation Acts, a point that is likely to engage the serious attention: of our courts as it has those of England and Canada in dealing with questions arising out of such statutes.

As stated in the initial Preface to this series of NEGLIGENCE AND COMPENSATION CASES ANNOTATED exhaustive annotations upon practical topics will be one of the leading features of the work with the view of making the monographic notes of the greatest helpfulness to the profession. In the annotations all of the cases in point will be analyzed, the facts in each case fully set out and the doctrine applicable clearly stated. The date of each case cited in the annotation will be given; the value of the date being recognized by every lawyer who knows of the fluctuating and unstable condition of the law on the subjects of Employers' Liability, Industrial Insurance and Workmen's Compensation. Another feature of the series, the insertion of the pleadings to the cases, has been highly appreciated and will be extended in subsequent volumes.
