On motion of Senator Sparks the following resolution was adopted: Dover, Del., June 15th, 1906. Whereas, It has pleased Divine Providence to remove from this life Mr. William Smith, a reputable citizen of the town of Elkton, Maryland, and brother to Rev. George P. Smith, our Chaplain, therefore Be it resolved, That the Senate extend to our Rev. Chaplain our sincere sympathy in this the time of trouble for his family, and be it further. Resolved, That as a further mark of respect the Secretary of the Senate forward a copy of these resolutions to our Rev. Chaplain. Attest: J. Edward Goslee, Secretary of Senate. I. T.
