(a) Rom. 111. 21, 22. The RIGHTEOUSNESS of God is manifested, being witneffed by the Law and the PROPHETS, even the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God, which is by Faith of Jefus Chrift, unto all them that believe. Jer. xx111. 6. This is the Name whereby he fhall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

LORD, rebuke me not in thine Anger, neither (a) CHASTEN me in thy Difpleasure: Have Mercy upon me, O Lord, for I am weak, and Soul is alfo fore vexed; but thou, O Lord, how long? Return, O Lord, deliver my Soul; O fave me for thy Mercies fake; for in Death (b) there is no Remembrance of thee, or in the Grave who fhall give thee Thanks? I am weary of my Groaning, all the Night make I my Bed to fwim: (c) But thou, O Lord, wilt hear the Voice of my Weeping, thou wilt hear my Supplications, and receive my Prayer.

Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my Soul, O my God, I trust in thee, let me not be afhamed, let not mine Enemies triumph over me: Shew me thy Ways, O Lord, lead me in thy Truth and teach me, for thou art the God of my Salvation.
