Light of the Body is the Eye; therefore when thine EYE is fingle, thy whole Body alfo is full of LIGHT: but when thine EYE is EVIL, thy Body alfo is full of DARKNESS. Take heed therefore that the Light which is in thee be not Darkness. If thy whole Body therefore be full of Light, having no part dark, the whole fhall be full of Light: as when the bright fhining of a Candle doth give thee Light.

10. Wherefore the rather, Brethren, give Diligence to make your CALLING and Election SURE: for if ye do thefe Things, ye fhall never fall.

[Mr.] AND [M.] then Jefus went thence, and departed into the Coafts of Tyre and Sidon, [Mr.] and entred into an Houfe, and would have no Man know it, but he could not be hid. For [M.] behold, a Woman of Canaan came out of the fame Coatts, [Mr.] whofe young Daughter had an unclean SPIRIT, heard of him, and came and fell at his Feet, (the Woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by Nation) and fhe befought him that he would caft forth the DEVIL out of her Daughter, [M] and cried unto him, faying, Have Mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my Daughter is grievously vexed with a DEVIL. But he answered her not a Word. And his Difciples came and befought him, faying, Send her away, for fhe crieth after us. rael. Then came fhe and WORSHIPPED him, faying, Lord help me. But he answered and [Mr.] faid unto her, Let the Children firft be filled: for it is not meet to take the Childrens Bread, and to caft it unto the Dogs. And fhe answered and faid unto him, Yes, [M] Truth, Lord, [Mr.] yet the Dogs under the Table eat of the Childrens Crumbs, [M] which fall from their Mafter's Table. Then Jefus anfwered and faid unto her, O Woman, great is thy FAITH be it unto thee even as thou wilt. [Mr.] For this Saying, go thy way; the DEVIL is gone out of thy Daughter. [M] And her Daughter was made WHOLE from that very Hour. [Mr.] And when he was come to her Houfe, the found him gone out, and her Daughter laid upon the Bed.

He heals the Ruler's Son.

John No WOW after two Days he departed thence, and iv.43. went into Galilee. For Jefus himself teftified, that a Prophet hath no Honour in his own Country. Then when he was come into Galilee, the Galileans received him, having feen all the Things that he did at Ferufalem at the Feaft, for they alfo went unto the Feaft. So Jefus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he made the Water Wine. And there was a certain NOBLEMAN, whofe Son was fick at Capernaum. When he heard that Jefus was come out of Judea into Galilee, he went unto him, and befought him that he would come down and HEAL his Son: for he was at the Point of DEATH. Then faid Jefus unto him, Except ye fee Signs and Wonders, ye will not BELIEVE. The Nobleman faith unto him, Sir, come down ere my Child die. Jefus faith unto him, Go thy way, thy Son liveth. that Jefus had fpoken unto him, and he went his way. And as he was now going down, his Servants met him, and told him, faying, Thy Son liveth. Then inquired he of them the Hour when he began to amend: 'And they faid unto him, Yefterday at the feventh Hour the FEVER left him. So the Father knew that it was at the fame HOUR, in the which Jefus faid unto him, Thy Son LIVETH; and himfelf BELIEVED, and his whole House. This is again the fecond Miracle that Jefus did when he was come out of Judea into Galilee,

CHRIST cureth a Man of the Pally.

[Mr.JAND again he entred into Capernaum, after fome

Days, and it was noised that he was in the House. And ftraitway many were gathered together, infomuch that there was no room to receive them, no not fo much as about the Door. [L.] And it came to pafs on a certain Day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharifees and Doctors of the Law fitting by, which were come out of every Town of Galilee, and Judea, and Jerufalem: [Mr.] And he preached the WORD unto them, [.] and the POWER of the LORD was prefent to HEAL them.
