N.B.-In cases where the Units shall amount to more than Ten Shillings on any Entry, they may be paid in cash, but an additional bill, containing all the particulars of the entry, with a reference thereto, is to be delivered to the Collector by the party paying the Duty, and the bill is to be numbered with the entries for "Moneys not Duties," and the amount included in that branch of the receipt. No demand is to be made for a Post Entry in cases in which the value of the Stamps deficient may be under Sixpence, except as respects Goods in packages, in which cases, as the entry is indispensable, the proper number of Stamps is to be required. |
