(a) Includes £12,396 14s. paid out of Grant from Ireland Development Fund towards cost of providing a new Residence for King's Scholars in Marlborough Street Training College.

(b) Includes £3,379 58. 1d. paid out of Grant from Ireland Development Fund towards cost of additional King's Scholars in Our Lady of Mercy and De La Salle Training Colleges.

(c) Includes £35.728 paid out of Grant from Ireland Development Fund for Salaries of Assistant Teachers recognised on an average attendance of 50 pupils, and £8,963 78. 7d. out of the same Grant in respect of the Salaries of Junior Assistant Mistresses.

(d) The total Free Stocks granted in 1907-1908 amounted to £331 98. 10d, as follows:-Ordinary National Schools, £278 3s. 9d.; Model Schools £53 6s. ld..
