A Warranty Deed.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That I, Peter Careful, of Leominfter, in the County of Worcester and Commonwealth of Maffachusetts, gentleman, for and in confideration of one hundred fifty dollars, and forty five cents paid to me by Samuel Pendleton, of Ashby, in the County of Middlefex, and Commonwealth of Maffachusetts, yeoman, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, do hereby give, grant, fell and convey to the faid Samuel Pendleton, his heirs and affigns, a certain tract and parcel of land, bounded as follows, viz.

[Here infert the bounds, together with all the privileges and appurtenances thereune to belonging.]

To have and to hold the fame unto the faid Samuel Pendleton, his heirs and affigns to his and their use and behoof forever. And I do covenant with the faid Peter Pendleton, his heirs and affigns, That I am lawfully feized in fee of the premises, that they are free of all incumbrances, and that I will warrant and defend the fame to the faid Peter Pendleton, his heirs and affigns forever, against the lawful claims and demands of all perfons. A Mortgage Deed.

KNOW ALL MEN-BY THESE PRESENTS, That I, Simpfon Eafley, of—in the county of- -in the ftate of Blacksmith, in confideration Dollars- -Cents, paid by Elvin Fairface, of—in the coun-in the state of, Shoemaker, the Receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, do hereby give, grant, fell and convey unto the faid Elvin Fairface, his heirs and affigns, a certain tract and parcel of land, bounded as follows, viz. (Here infert the bounds together with all the privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging.) To have and to hold the afore-granted Premises to the faid Elvin Fairface, his heirs and affigns, to his and their use and behoof forever. And I do covenant with the faid Elvin Fairface, his heirs and affigns, That I am lawfully feized in 'fee of the afore-granted premifes: That they are free of all incumbrances: That I have good right to fell and convey the fame to the faid Elvin Fairface. And that I will warrant and defend the fame premises to the faid Elvin, his heirs and affigns forever, against the lawful claims and demands of all perfons. Provided nevertheless, That if I the faid Simpson Eafley, my heirs, executors, or adminiftrators, fhall well and truly pay the faid Elvin Fairface, his heirs, executors, administrators or affigns, the full and just sum of- -dollars- -cents on or before theday of which will be in the year of our Lord Eighteen Hundred andwith lawful interest for the fame until paid, then this deed, as also a certain bond [or note as the cafe may be] bearing date with these presents given by me to the faid Fairface, conditioned to pay the fame fum and interest at the time aforefaid fhall be void; otherwife to remain in full force and virtue. In witnefs whereof, I the faid Simpfon and Abigail my wife, in teftimony that she relinquishes all her right to dower or alimony in and to the above defcribed premises, hereunto fet our hands and feals this--day of——in the year of our Lord one thoufand eight hundred and five. § 6. OF AN INDENTURE.

A common Indenture to bind an Apprentice.

This Indenture witneffeth, That A. B. of, &c. hath put and placed, and by these presents doth put and bind.out his fon C. D. and the faid C. D. doth hereby put, place and bind out himself, as an apprentice to R. P. to learn the art, trade or mystery of. The faid C. D. after the manner of an apprentice, to dwell with and ferve the faid R. P.—from the day of the date hereof, until the-day of- -which will be in the year of our Lord one thoufand eight hundred and--at which time the said apprentice, if he fhould be living, will be twenty-one years of age: During which time or term the faid apprentice his faid mafter well and faithfully fhall ferve; his fecrets keep, and his lawful commands every where at all times readily obey, he fhall do no damage to his faid master, nor wilfully fuffer any to be done by others; and if any to his knowledge be intended, he fhall give his master feafonable notice thereof. He fhall not wafte the goods of his said master nor lend them unlawfully to any; at cards, dice, or any unlawful game he fhall not play; fornication he fhall not commit, nor matrimony contract during the faid term; taverns, ale-houfes, or places of gaming he fhall not haunt or frequent: From the fervice of his faid mafter, he fhall not absent himself but in all things and at all times he fhall carry and behave himself as a good and faithful apprentice ought, during the whole time or term aforefaid.

And the faid R. P. on his part, doth hereby promise, covenant and agree to teach and inftruct the faid apprentice, or caufe him to be taught and inftructed, in the art, trade, or calling of a▬▬▬by the best way or means he can, and also to teach and inftruct the faid apprentice, or caufe him to be taught and inftructed, to read and write, and cypher as far as the Rule of Three, if the faid apprentice be capable to learn, and fhall well and faithfully find and provide for the faid apprentice, good and fufficient meat, drink, clothing, lading and other neceffaries fit and convenient for fuch an appren tice, during the term aforefaid, and at the expiration thereof, fhall give unto the faid apprentice, two fuits of wearing apparel, one fuitable for the Lord's day, and the other for working days.

In teftimony whereof, the faid parties hereunto interchangeably fet their hands and feals, the-day of in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and

In the name of GOD, Amen, I, A. B. of, &c. being weak in body, but of found and perfect mind and memory (or you may fay thus, confidering the uncertainty of this mortal life, and being of found, &c.) bleffed be Almighty God for the fame, do make and publish this my laft Will and Teftament, in manner and form following (that is to fay) First, I give and bequeath unto beloved wife J. B. the fum ofI do alfo give and bequeath unto my eldest fon, G. B. the fum ofI do alfo give and bequeath unto my two younger fons, J. B. and F. B. the sum of- -a piece. I also give and bequeath to my daughter-in-law, S. H. fingle woman, the fum ofwhich faid feveral legacies or fums of money I will and order fhall be paid to the faid refpective legatees, within fix months after my decease. I further give and devise to my faid eldest fon G. B. his heirs and affigns, All that my meffuage or tenament, fituate, lying and being in, &c. together with all my other freehold estate whatsoever, to hold to him the faid G. B. his heirs and affigns forever. And I hereby give and bequeath to my faid younger fons, J. B. and F. B. all my leafehold eftate of and in all thofe meffuages or tenaments, with the appurtenances, fituate, &c. equally to be divided between them. And lastly, as to all the rest, refidue and remainder of my personal estate, goods and chattels, of what kind and nature foever, I give and bequeath the fame to my faid beloved wife, J. B. whom I hereby appoint fole executrix of this my last Will and Testament; and hereby revoking all former wills by me made.

In witnefs whereof I hereunto fet my hand and feal, the year of our Lord
