1. Divide 2 by '06, and 6.35 by 425, each to four places of decimals, and prove the truth of each result by fractions.

2. What number must be subtracted from the product of 9.27 and 8.003 to give the sum of 19, 27·9652, 003, 5.0267, and 17·09 ?

3. A man having charged 875 of a crown too much in his bill gave in change 12.4375s.; what was the amount of change he ought to have given ?

4. If 120 men can make an embankment 7.6 miles long in 100 days, working 12 hours a day; how many hours a day must 160 men work in order to finish a similar embankment 2.875 miles long in 40 days?
