CHAPTER LXXII.

AN ACT extending the privilege of franking letters to the delegate from the Territory of the United States, north-west of the river Ohio; and making provifion for his compensation.

E it enacted by the Senate and Houfe of Reprefentatives of the United States of America, in Congrefs affembled, That the prefent delegate to Congrefs from the Territory of Privilege of the United States, north-weft of the river franking leeOhio, and every future delegate from the faid Territory, fhall be entitled to the privilege of fending and receiving letters, free of postage, on the fame terms, and under the fame reftric tions, as are provided for the members of the Senate and of the House of Reprefentatives of the United States, by the Act intituled “An act to establish the post-office of the United States."

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the prefent delegate from the aforefaid Territory be authorised to receive, free of poftage, under the faid restrictions, any letters directed to him, and which fhall have arrived at the feat of government, prior to the passage of this act.

CHAPTER LXXIII.

AN ACT for the relief of Solomon Boston.

E it enacted by the Senate and House of Re• prefentatives of the United States of America, in Congrefs affembled, That Solomon Bofton, now confined in the public gaol of Kent Coun ty in the State of Delaware, be releafed and discharged, and he hereby is released and dif charged from all claim and demand of the United States, to a certain.judgment, for a penalty of one thoufand dollars recovered at their fuit in the District Court of the District of Delaware; faving and referving, neverthelefs, the right and intereft which belongs to any third perfon, if any such exist.
