The angel fealeth

REVELATION.

4 And there went out another horfe that was red: and power was given to him that fat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great fword.

5 And when he had opened the third feal, I
heard the third beaft fay, Come and fee. And
I beheld, and lo, a black horfe; and he that fat
on him had a pair of balances in his hand.

6 And I leard a voice in the midft of the
four beafts fay, A measure of wheat for a pen
ny, and three meafures of barley for a penny;
and fee thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
7 And when he had opened the fourth feal,
I heard the voice of the fourth beaft
fay, Come and fee.

8 And 1 looked, and behold a pale horfe:
and his name that fat on him was Death, and
hell followed with him. And power was
given unto them over the fourth part of the
earth, to kill with fword, and with hunger,
and with death, and with the bearts of the
earth.

9 And when he had opened the fifth feal, I faw under the altar the fouls of them that were flain for the word of God, and for the teftimony which they held:

10 And they cried with a loud voice, fay. ing, How long, O Lord, holy and true, doft thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was faid unto them that they thould reft yet for a little feafon, until their fellow fervants alfo and their brethren, that thould be killed as they were, fhould be fulfilled.

12 And I beheld when he had opened the fixth feal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the fun became black as fackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13 And the ftars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree cafteth her untimely figs, when the is thaken of a mighty wind. 14 And the heaven departed as a feroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and inland were moved out of their places.

15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks t the mountains;

16 And faid to the mountains and rocks,
Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him
that fitteth on the throne, and from the
wrath of the Lamb:

17 For the great day of his wrath is come;
and who thall be able to ftand?

9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great titude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, flood before the throne, and be the Lamb, clothed with white robes 24 palms in their hands;

10 And cried with a loud voice, faying, Salvation to our God which fitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

11 And all the angels flood round thou the throne, and about the elders and the four beafts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worthipped God,

12 Saying, Amen: Bleffing, and glory, and wifdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our Godt ever and ever. Anien.

13 And one of the elders anfwered, faying unto me, What are thefe which are arrayed is white robes? and whence came they!

14 And I faid unto him, Sir, thou knowet And he faid to me, Thefe are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them whi in the blood of the Lamb.

15 Therefore are they before the three of God, and ferve him day and night is his temple: and he that fitteth on the throt thall dwell among them.

16 They fhall hunger no more, neithe thirft any more; neither thall the fun light on them, nor any heat.

17 For the Lamb which is in the midftet the throne thall feed them, and fall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God hall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the faints, afcend ed up before God out of the angel's hand.

5 And the angel took the cenfer, and filled It with fire of the altar, and caft it into the earth and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

6 And the feven angels which had the feven trumpets prepared themfelves to found. 7 The firft angel founded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were caft upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grafs was burnt up.

8 And the fecond angel founded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was caft into the fea; and the third part of the fea became blood:

9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the fea, and had life, died; and the third part of the thips were destroyed.

10 And the third angel founded, and there fell a great far from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;

11 And the name of the ftar is cled Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

12 And the fourth angel founded, and the third part of the fun was fmitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the ftars; fo as the third part of them was darkened, and the day fhone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midit of heaven, faying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reafon of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to found!

2 And he opened the bottomlefs pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the fmoke of a great furnace; and the fun and the air were darkened by reafon of the fmoke of the pit.

3 And there came out of the fmoke locuits upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the fcorpions of the earth have power.

Four angels loofed.

6 And in those days fhall men seek death and fhall not find it; and fhall defire to die, and death fhall flee from them.

7 And the shapes of the locufts were like unto horfes prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.

8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. 9 And they had breastplates, as it were breaftplates of iron; and the found of their wings was as the found of chariots of many horfes running to battle.

10 And they had tails like unto fcorpions, and there were ftings in their tails and their power was to hurt men five months.

11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomlefs pit, whole name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue he hath his name Apollyon.

12 One woe is paft; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter.

13 And the fixth angel founded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,

14 Saying to the fixth angel which had the trumpet, Loofe the four angels which are bou in the great river Euphrates.

15 And the four angels were loofed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to lay the third part of men.

16 And the number of the army of the horfemen were two hundred thousand thou fand: and I heard the number of them.

17 And thus I faw the horfes in the vifion, and them that fat on them, having breaftplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the hotfes were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths iffued fire and fmoke and brimitone.

18 By thefe three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the fmoke, and by the brimalone, which issued out of their mouths.

19 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto ferpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt,

9 And I went unto the angel, and faid unto him, Give me the little book. And he faid unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it fhall make thy belly bitter, but it thall be in thy mouth fweet as honey.
