Mr. Olson, from the Committee on Agriculture, Live Stock and Dairying, to whom was referred a bill, Senate Bill No. 417, for "An Act to amend an Act entitled, 'An Act to establish and maintain a laboratory for the production of hog cholera serum and other biological products for free distribution to the live stock producers of the State of Illinois, and making an appropriation therefor,' approved June 10, 1909, in force July 1, 1909, by amending the title thereto, section one thereof and by adding seven (7) new sections,"

Reported the same back with the recommendation that the bill do pass and that it be ordered to a first reading.

Under the rules, the bill was ordered to a first reading, and was immediately taken up and read at large a first time, and ordered to a second reading.

Mr. Olson, from the Committee on Agriculture, Live Stock and Dairying, to which was referred a bill, Senate Bill No. 245, for “An Act to prevent the spread of infectious and contagious disease among live stock in Illinois and providing for the appointment of county health officers and prescribing their duties,"

Reported the same back with the recommendation that the bill do not pass.

The report of the committee was concurred in, and the bill on motion of Mr. Olson, was ordered to lie on the table.

On motion of Mr. Denvir, the consideration of House Joint Resolution No. 20 which was made a special order for today was postponed to Tuesday, May 18, 1915, immediately after the preceding special order.

Mr. Austin entered the motion to reconsider the vote whereby Senate Bill No. 203, a bill for "An Act relating to the extortion, or attempted extortion of money, or other property for the purpose of avoiding, settling or terminating disputes or controversies between associations or classes of workmen or workwomen and employers, property owners, or property lessees and to fix the punishment therefor," Failed to pass on yesterday.

On motion of Mr. Austin, the consideration of the motion to reconsider was postponed to and made the special order for Tuesday, May 18, 1915, immediately after the preceding special order.

By unanimous consent, Mr. Ettelson, from the Committee on License and Miscellany, to whom was referred a bill, Senate Bill No. 215, for “An Act denying to municipal corporations and quasi-municipal corporations the right to prevent funerals from passing along any public street, boulevard or driveway,"

Reported the same back with the recommendation that the bill do pass and that it be ordered to a first reading.
