The girls' school is in an improving state. Ripley-Religious knowledge more satisfactory since last inspection; the first class passed a good examination. The school is deficient in order and discipline. Derby, Curnon-street.-The lower classes in the boys' school are much improved; the attendance also is more regular than heretofore: the whole school exhibits the satisfac tory working of the pupil-teacher system under an earnest and intelligent master. The Derby, St. Peter's.-The first class of boys passed a good examination; the second, Derby, St. Peter's, Bag-lane.-The mistress has taken pains with her school; more books and apparatuss are required.
