MULTIPLES AND FACTORS.

The multiples of 2 are . . 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, etc. The multiples of 3 are..

12, etc. NOTE. 6 and 12 are multiples of both 2 and 3; hence 6 and 12 are Common Multiples of 2 and 3; and 6 is the Least Common Multiple of 2 and 3.
