CLOSING HYMN.

XTOLLED be the living God and praised! He existeth, but His existence is not bounded by time.

He is One, but there is no unity like unto His unity; He is incomprehensible, and His unity is unending. He hath no material form; He is incorporeal; and naught that is can be compared to Him in holiness. He existed before all things that are created; He is

the first, but there is no beginning to His existence. Behold! He is the Lord of the world; and all the creation revealeth His power and His dominion. The inspiration of prophecy did He bestow on the men of His chosen people.

There never arose a prophet in Israel like unto Moses, who beheld God's similitude.

A true law hath God given to His people, by the hand of His prophet who was faithful in His house.

God will never alter nor change His law for any other. He beholdeth and knoweth all secret things; for He vieweth the end of a thing at its commencement.

He bestoweth kindness on man according to his deeds, and recompenses the wicked according to their wickedness.

Life eternal He hath planted within us. Blessed be the name of His glory for evermore.

PARTING BENEDICTIONS.

TH

HEY who trust in the Lord shall be as Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, which standeth forever. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people, henceforth even forever!

Behold, how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like precious perfume upon the head, like the dew which descendeth upon the mountains of Zion. For there the Lord commandeth a blessing, even life for evermore.

Lift up your eyes to the heavens and look upon the earth beneath; the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment; and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner; but the salvation of the Lord shall be forever, and His righteousness shall not fail.

Eternal One, Thou hast shown us what is good and what Thou dost require of us, to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with Thee. Great peace have they who love Thy law, and nothing can offend them. Lord, give strength unto Thy people, O God, bless Thy people with peace.

For Silent Devotion:

O Thee, my God and Father, do I lift up my soul in this hour of self-inquiry. Bowed down by the consciousness of my sins I come into Thy house and approach Thy throne of justice, O most righteous Judge! Thou hast given me understanding to distinguish good from evil and hast revealed Thy commandments to me that I may do Thy will. But often have I not hearkened to Thy word nor heeded Thy commandment. Thou hast illumined my soul with the light of understanding, and often I have closed my eyes so as not to see it. Where, O God, shall I hide myself that Thy judging eye may not see me? Whither shall I flee, that the voice of Thy displeasure may not reach me? No distance can separate me from Thine omnipresence, no darkness can hide me from Thine all-seeing eye. But there is still one refuge for me, one hope that sustains me. I shall

hide myself in the shadow of Thy mercy; I shall look for shelter under the wings of Thy grace; for Thy forbearance is everlasting and the fountain of Thy love flows forever.
