HE Lord is nigh unto all that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth.

[Psalm cxlv, 18.]

The Lord is full of compassion and mercy; longsuffering, and of great goodness. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is His kindness. toward them that fear Him.

[Psalm ciii, 8, 11.]

Yet now saith the Lord: turn ye unto me with all your heart; rend your hearts, and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord, your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness.

[Joel II, 12-13.]

For this commandment which I command thee this day, is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off. It is not in heaven, that thou shouldst say, who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldst say, who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it. See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; in that I command thee this
