REM.-In this question, instead of using the eighth and tenth months, some authors prefer calling them 7 months and 9 months ; but if there is an inaccuracy in the months, there is also in the years; hence if we read the above thus: The one thousand eight hundred and fiftieth year, the 8th month and 18th day, there is no inaccuracy.

In computations of time we always take 30 days as a month.
