The properties of "Khoosh" are so varied that those who use them do not require to take medicine of any kind (except in special cases). powerful stomachic and cleanses the liver from all impurities without any injurious effects. It is only by a test that the wonderful qualities of "Khoosh" can be fully recognised. A great number of ladies and gentlemen who have used them can be referred to. The popularity of "Khoosh" whereever introduced is unprecedented, as one bottle is worth any number of boxes of pills that are advertised to cure all complaints.

One trial of a bottle will satisfy the most sceptical of the truth of the above assertions.

A large number of Voluntary Testimonials have been received.

Extract from "THE CIVILIAN," 14th December, 1883.

"Year by year Cocoas, and preparations of Cocoa, have been constantly springing up only to be mentioned after a short existence as having belonged to the things that were. The reason for all this is obvious. The would-be imitators come into the market without any regard to the fact that the best of the beans go to the largest buyers, and after their demands have been satisfied, the residue goes to the new manufacturers, and, consequently, there is a deficiency in the quality of their preparations. There can be no sort of doubt that the Cocoa trade is now at its best, and amongst the old firms who, notwithstanding fluctuations in the market, have never swerved from the high standard of quality they set up for themselves at the outset, and who, amidst the many mushroom sort of preparations have retained the confidence alike of the trade and the public, must be accorded a prominent place to Barry and Reynolds, who rely for the continued extensive demand for the various articles they manufacture, in this age of advertising and competition, by maintaining this high standard of excellence, combined with moderate cost to the public. No new scheme of mechanism arises-no extra quality of bean discovered—no plan for augmenting their paraphernalia in the way of production-no stone to be unturned in order to secure excellence-but Barry and Reynolds are to the fore in its adoption. Most of their manufactures are obtainable at the Stores, and Members, in making up their lists will do well to include some of Barry and Reynolds' Mustard-it is excellent."

From the Court Circular.

Mr. Rowe has forwarded to us a specimen of his Oroide Gold Jewellery, which deserves notice not only on account of its neatness, but of its

price. This specimen is a watch chain, of admirable design, manufactured in the highest style of art, and perfectly durable. It would be

difficult, indeed, to detect any difference between this chain and those made exclusively of the real metal, for the Oroide Gold has many characteristics which make it acceptable on its own merits alone. The specimen forwarded to us is of excellent workmanship and good design, and we are not surprised to learn that Mr. Rowe's specialities are very popular.
