134. To reduce a decimal of any denomination to its proper value. RULE. 66 Multiply the decimal by the number of units connecting the next lower denomination with the given one, and point off for decimals as many figures in the product, beginning from the right hand, as there are figures in the given decimal. The figures on the left of the decimal point will represent the whole numbers in the next denomination. Proceed in the same way with the decimal part for that denomination, and so on."
