The great difficulty of printing mathematical works correctly, may be fairly estimated by the number of errors that occur in the works of the ablest writers on the subject. As it is probable that some few may still have escaped the Author's notice, he will feel much indebted to any of his readers, who will have the kindness to communicate to the publishers any errors they may happen to detect.
