PEACE be to this house, and to all that dwell in it.

¶ Then, all kneeling down, let him say what follows, and let all the Family join aloud in the Answers, and in the Lord's Prayer.

REMEMBER not, Lord, our iniquities, nor the iniquities of our forefathers: spare us, good Lord, spare thy people, whom thou hast redeemed with thy most precious blood, and be not angry with us for ever. Ans. Spare us, good Lord.

Lord, have mercy upon us.

OUR Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen. O Lord, save thy servants;

Ans. Who put their trust in thee.

O Lord, send them help from thy holy place;

Ans. And evermore mightily defend them.

Be unto them a strong tower,

Ans. From the face of their enemy.

O Lord, hear our prayer.

Ans. And let our cry come unto thee.

a Visitation of the Sick.

Collect for Purity and Truth, commemorative of our Lord's Resurrection.

ALMIGHTY FATHER, who hast given thine only Son to die for our sins, and to rise again for our justification; Grant us so to put away the leaven of malice and wickedness, that we may always serve thee in pureness of living and truth; through the merits of the same thy Son Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen."

For Unity of Spirit in the Church.

O ALMIGHTY GOD, who hast built thy Church upon the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the head corner-stone; Grant us so to be joined together in unity of spirit by their doctrine, that we may be made an holy temple, acceptable unto thee, through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.

For the keeping of the Church in true Religion.

O LORD, we beseech thee to keep thy Church and household continually in thy true religion; that they who do lean only upon the hope of thy heavenly grace may evermore be defended by thy mighty power: through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen."

For the Imitation of the Saints.

O ALMIGHTY GOD, who hast knit together thine elect in one communion and fellowship, in the mystical body of thy Son Christ, our Lord; Grant us grace so to follow thy blessed Saints in all virtuous and godly living, that we may come to those unspeakable joys, which thou hast prepared for them that unfeignedly love thee, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
