Mr. Moore presented Senate Joint Resolution, No. 4, entitled:

Senate Joint Resolution authorizing and directing the State Treasurer to transfer the sum of five thousand and nine hundred dollars ($5,900) from the General Fund to the School. Fund, which, on his motion was read.

Mr. Moore moved that the joint resolution be adopted.
On the question, "Shall the joint resolution be adopted?"

The yeas and nays were ordered, which, being taken, were as follows:

Yeas-Messrs. Barnard, Conner, Hart, Houston, Iliffe, Jester, Mendinhall, Miller, Monaghan, Moore, Morrison, Rose, Rowland, Mr. President pro tem.

So the question was decided in the affirmative and the joint resolution having received the required constitutional majority, was declared adopted.

Ordered to the House for concurrence.

Ordered that the House be informed thereof, and the joint. resolution returned to this body.

Mr. Swain, Clerk of the House, being admitted, informed the Senate that the House had concurred in the following join resolution, entitled:

Senate Joint Resolution, No. 3.

Be it resolved by the Senate and House of Representativesof the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:

That the attorneys for the Legislature be and the same arehereby authorized to draw such supplies as may be necessaryfor their work during the session.

And presented the same to the Senate.

On motion of Mr. Sparks the bill, Senate Bill, No 1, entitled:

An Act to provide for the State of Delaware to be repre-

sented at the Jamestown Ter-Centennial Exposition and to make an appropriation therefor,

Was taken up for consideration, and, on his further motion, was read a third time, by paragraphs, in order to pass the Sen

ate.

On the question, "Shall the bill pass the Senate?"

The yeas and nays were ordered, which, being taken, were as follows:

Yeas-Messrs. Barnard, Houston, Iliffe, Jester, Mendinhall Miller, Monaghan, Moore, Morrison, Rose, Rowland, Mr. President pro tem.

So the question was decided in the affirmative, and the bill having received the required constitutional majority, passed the Senate.

Ordered to the House for concurrence.

Ordered that the House be informed thereof, and the bill returned to this body.

Mr. Moore, Chairman of the Committee on Rules, made a report.

On motion of Mr. Sparks, future consideration of the rules were postponed until 2 o'clock, p. m., and on his further motion, Senate takes a recess until that hour.

Same day, 2 o'clock, P. M.

Senate met pursuant to adjournment.

On motion of Mr. Moore, the report of the Committee on Rules, was approved.

The following notices were given:

Mr. Conner gave notice that on to-morrow, or some future day, he would ask leave to introduce a bill, entitled: An Act in relation to School Districts of this State not created, consolidated or united by special act, the school fund therefor, taxation therein, and government thereof.

Mr. Rose gave notice that on to-morrow, or some future day, he would ask leave to introduce a bill, entitled: An Act to regulate the charges and fees of Court Stenographers.

On motion of Mr. Sparks, the bill, Senate Bill, No. 7, entitled.

An Act respecting the acquisition of land and of rights in land, for the advantage of the parks of the City of Wilmington, Was read a first time.

On the further motion of Mr. Sparks, Rule 14 was suspended as to this bill.

And further on his motion the bill was read a second time, by its title, and referred to the Committee on Cities and Towns.

Mr. Swain, Clerk of the House, being admitted, informed the Senate that the House had passed and requested the concurrence of the Senate in the following concurrent resolution, entitled:

Be it resolved by the House (if the Senate concur therein) that a public hearing be given Mrs. Maria Weed, of Washington, D. C., in Joint Session in the Representative Hall, on Thursday, January 17, 1907, at 11 o'clock, a. m., relative to the anti-Polygamy bill now before the Congress of the United States.

The concurrent resolution, on concurred in.

On motion of Mr. Monaghan, the following House Joint Resolution was read, and further on his motion, action was deferred:

Joint resolution authorizing the appointment of a committee of two on the part of the House and also two on the part of the Senate to select and secure a proper and suitable person to act as night watchman for the State House.

On motion of Mr. Rose, the bill, Senate Bill, No. 8, entitled:

An Act to amend Chapter 438, Vol. 17, Laws of Delaware, entitled, An Act to amend the act entitled, An Act to amend the

act entitled, An Act providing for the appointment of a State Chemist, passed at Dover, April 18, 1881, providing a change in the analysis fee of the State Chemist,

Was read a first time.

On the further motion of Mr. Rose, Rule 14 was suspended as to this bill.

And further on his motion the bill was read a second time by its title, and referred to the Committee on Revised Statutes.

On motion of Mr. Sparks, Senate adjourns until 10.30 a.m., Monday, January 14, 1907.

Mr. Barnard gave notice that on to-morrow, or some future day, he would ask leave to introduce a bill, entitled: An act to amend Chapter 372, Volume 22, Laws of Delaware, being an act for the protection of Black Bass.
