1. What are the causes of Fatigue? Give experimental proofs for your 20 statements. State the readiness or otherwise with which Fatigue affects Muscles, Nerves, Nerve-centres and Nerve-endings, and here again give experimental proofs.

2. Describe the structure of Lymphoid tissue. What part does this 15 tissue play in the functions of the body? In what parts of the body do you find this tissue?

3. What is meant by Jacksonian Epilepsy? Explain clearly what we 15 learn from these attacks.

4. What are Vaso-Motor Nerves? Describe their origin, distribution 20 and functions. Describe in detail an experiment to demonstrate the action of a Vaso-Motor Nerve supplying a limb or an organ, dwelling on the conclusions you would draw from such an experiment. Sketch the apparatus you would use,

5. Give a short account of the Chemical nature of Uric Acid. State 15 what is known as to the origin and history of Uric Acid in the body. Give a short method for estimating it quantitatively.

3. What are the causes of dilatation of the Bronchi? Describe the 2 symptoms and signs to which it gives rise, and the anatomical changes found iafter death.

4. Describe the physical signs and symptoms of an Aneurysm of the 2 third part of the Aortic arch.

5. Give an account of the changes in the body which result from Chronic 2 Bright's Disease.

SURGERY, SURGICAL ANATOMY AND OPHTHALMIC SURGERY. 1. Give the differential diagnosis of Syphilitic Cancerous, Tuberculous and 20 Simple Ulcer of the Tongue. Discuss fully the treatment of Cancer of the Tongue (details of operations are not required).

2. Give the pathology, signs, symptoms and treatment of Caries of the 20 Dorsilumbar region of the Spine.

3. (a) What are the different points to be attended to in ordering a truss 20 for Inguinal, Femoral and Umbilical Hernia? What instructions should be given to the patient in using a truss?

(b) What is the aim or object of the "Radical Cure" of Hernia? Give the indications and contra-indications for such treatment.

4. Give the indications for External Urethrotomy. Describe in detail 20 Wheelhouse's Operation.

5. (a) Describe the varieties, symptoms and treatment of Keratitis.

(b) What are the indications for the use of Atropine and Eserine?

3. You are hastily called to see a woman two weeks after her confinement. 25 She is propped up half reclining, with dyspuca and in great distress. Pulse full and quick; Temperature 101° or so; Heart's action tumultuous; normal.
