JOURNAL OF THE House of Representatives OF THE Forty-Sixth General Assembly OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS. WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 6, 1909. At a regular session of the Forty-sixth General Assembly of the State of Illinois, begun and holden at the Capitol, in the city of Springfield, at 12:00 o'clock, noon, on the Wednesday next after the first Monday in January, the same being the sixth day of January in the year of our Lord, 1909, pursuant to the provisions of section nine (9), article four (4) of the Constitution of the State of Illinois. The Hon. James A. Rose, Secretary of State, called the House to order and presided over its deliberations until the election of a temporary presiding officer, as provided by the Constitution. Prayer was offered by the Rev. Mr. T. D. Logan. The Secretary of State designated B. H. McCann and J. H. Hogan as Provisional Clerks pending the temporary organization of the House and directed Mr. McCann to call the roll of Representatives-elect of the Forty-sixth General Assembly, compiled as follows from the official returns on file in the office of the Secretary of State. |
