Typical Martyn Lloyd-Jones book--quite insightful, helpful, & practical application. I would recommend his book to anyone looking to understand the Kingdom of God better..JBL

I appreciate Lloyd-Jones as his works are generally collected, transcribed sermons - endorsed by his authority as a pastor. That is, he preached these messages under authority of God, and was obediently accountable. I might suggest that this be read with Bonhoeffer's "The Cost of Discipleship".

Unless one is a hardened premillennial dispensationlist, the issue of the Kingdom must be resolved, and not simply and with a facile attitude "delayed". The dominionist preterists also treat this subject without mercy, claiming that everything was completed in 70AD and that of a consequence the Jews are kaput.
